Claude Cowork for Commercial Insurance

Stop losing hours to COIs, renewals, and service work.

Claude Cowork is the easiest way for your agency to put AI to work — without new software, new hires, or an IT project. We show your team how to use it the right way for commercial insurance, then help you build the workflows that actually move the needle.

Watch Ben walk through how agencies are actually using Cowork.

Claude Cowork is like hiring an associate who never sleeps — and already works at your agency.

Cowork runs on Claude, Anthropic's AI. It connects to your email, calendar, and files and actually does the work — not just chat about it. Here's what that looks like inside a commercial agency.

📄

COIs & endorsements drafted for you

Paste the request, point to the policy, and Cowork drafts the COI or endorsement request back to the carrier. Your CSRs review and send — no retyping, no missed holder info.

🔍

Renewal prep in minutes

Cowork reads last year's policy, the loss runs, and the client's updated exposures, then builds you a renewal summary: what changed, what to quote, and what questions to ask before the meeting.

📧

Service email that doesn't pile up

Triage the inbox, draft replies in your tone, log actions back to your AMS notes. Your service team stops drowning in 200-email days and finally answers same-day again.

📊

Loss runs & mod analysis

Compare mods year over year, flag classification errors, spot reserve movement that's about to hit the X-mod. The kind of analysis a senior producer does in an hour — Cowork does it in two minutes.

📚

Proposals built from your template

Feed Cowork the quote indications and your proposal template. Get back a clean, client-ready proposal in your agency's voice — not a generic AI blob.

🔎

Lead research before every call

Cowork pulls the prospect's website, news, hiring posts, and public filings, then hands your producer the exposures to ask about and the talking points that actually land.

Cowork, Claude, ChatGPT — the goal is always the same: explain it like you'd explain it to a coworker, not like a vendor. Here are two short walkthroughs.

What insurance pros are saying

Public recommendations from LinkedIn — from brokers, agency owners, and insurance specialists Ben has worked with directly.

I've gotten to know Ben personally and professionally over the past couple of years. His knowledge in the AI application and processes along with social media space expertise has made him a valuable resource and vendor for my insurance team. I wish I would have known about his ability to create flowing insurance processes using technology and AI before we spent over a year waiting for another company to understand what we needed. But now, Ben's the first person I call, text or DM on a regular basis.

Jeff Kleid Insuring the Uninsurable Daily — Specialty Insurance Programs, US LinkedIn Recommendation · Jan 29, 2026

As a relative newcomer to the broker side of the insurance world — having spent 25+ years with insurers — I found Ben incredibly helpful in accelerating my understanding. He provided clear guidance on the practical differences between ChatGPT, Claude Co-work, and N8N. The session was insightful, commercially relevant, and immediately applicable. I would highly recommend him to any insurance broker looking to better understand the nuances of AI and, more importantly, the tangible impact it can have on their business from day one.

Malcolm Wright Founder & CEO — Global Solutions, Expatriate Medical & Commercial Insurance LinkedIn Recommendation · Feb 25, 2026

My time spent with Ben was extremely valuable to me. With so much noise and overhyped commentary on every solution or expert ability, Ben is real. Connect, listen, watch, and engage. It will be worth the time you invest in learning and growing from his wisdom and expertise.

Two 1-hour sessions to get your whole team using Cowork the right way.

Most agencies plug AI in wrong. They open ChatGPT, ask it a question like Google, get a generic answer, and conclude "AI isn't there yet." Your team won't — because Ben teaches the framework before the tool.

  • Session 1: AI fundamentals with real commercial insurance examples — COIs, mod analysis, renewals, loss runs
  • Session 2: Deep-dive Q&A on your agency's specific workflows, bottlenecks, and roles
  • Everyone gets recordings, prompt cheat sheets, and the custom insurance GPTs Ben builds
  • Department-specific applications for producers, account managers, CSRs, and ops
The Plan

AI & Automation for Commercial Insurance Agencies

Ben worked full-time inside a brokerage for two years before going independent. Since then, Ben has automated more than 100 process flows for agencies and consulted with dozens of brokers across the US through WhereToBegin.ai.

Ben knows the business side — COIs, mods, renewals, carrier quirks — and the technical side — Claude, Cowork, n8n, APIs. That combination is rare. It's why Jeff Kleid calls Ben first. It's why Malcolm Wright says the guidance was "immediately applicable." And it's the reason your team will actually adopt what gets built, instead of another shelf-ware tool.

How it works

Three steps. No giant rollout plan, no IT project, no six-month timeline.

1

Tell Ben what's eating your time.

On a free 15-minute call, we map where hours are disappearing — COIs, renewals, service email, proposal prep, lead research. No generic pitch; this is specific to your agency.

2

Ben shows you what to automate first.

Using the "three strikes rule" (anything done 3+ times a week or with 3+ manual steps), Ben picks the highest-ROI workflow to move into Claude Cowork first — so the first win pays for the engagement.

3

We build it together.

Ben trains your team, sets up Cowork, and builds the workflows with your people — not behind a curtain. When Ben steps away, your team knows how the system works and how to extend it.

Frequently asked questions

The stuff insurance agency owners actually ask before booking.

What is Claude Cowork, and how is it different from ChatGPT?
Cowork is Anthropic's desktop tool built on Claude. Unlike a chat window, Cowork works alongside your files, email, and calendar, and actually performs multi-step tasks — reading a policy, drafting a COI, emailing the carrier, updating a sheet. ChatGPT is a conversation; Cowork is a coworker.
Do we need to replace our AMS?
No. Cowork sits on top of what you already use. Ben has built workflows on Applied Epic, AMS360, HawkSoft, EZLynx, and QQCatalyst. The goal is to remove busywork, not rip out your core systems.
Is client data safe?
Yes. Anthropic does not train on Cowork business data. Ben sets up workflows so only the minimum necessary information leaves your environment, and everything runs under your agency's accounts and permissions.
What does an engagement look like?
Onboarding is a flat fee and includes flowcharting your processes and identifying the first two or three workflows to automate. From there, most agencies go onto a monthly retainer for ongoing training, buildouts, and weekly working sessions. Exact pricing comes up on the first call.
We already tried AI and it didn't work. Why is this different?
Most teams use AI like Google — generic question in, generic answer out. Ben teaches the insurance-specific framework (profiles, prompt chaining, the associate mindset) and builds the tools into the places your team already works. That's the difference between a toy and a system.
Do you work with personal lines agencies too?
The core work is built around commercial — Workers' Comp, General Liability, Commercial Auto, and specialty lines. Personal lines teams benefit, but the examples, prompts, and workflows are commercial-first.
What if our team is already using ChatGPT?
Perfect — Ben will show your team how to use it consistently. Most agencies have two or three "AI power users" and the rest of the team guessing. Training plus Cowork closes that gap so everyone is operating at the same level.
